Giveaways

Every Exhibitor is required to complete the online giveaway form by logging onto the Exhibitor Resource Center by Wednesday, December 9. Those who are not distributing giveaways should select “no giveaways” on the form.

Commercial Exhibitors	Nonprofit & Gov Agencies
Must meet CMSS Code and PhRMA Code standards, regardless of whether the exhibitors have adopted the PhRMA Code. Designed primarily for education of patients/HCPs. Max $10 USD value and must be available to all registered attendees immediately upon request. Product samples require prior ASCO approval (not allowed for pharma). Must include the sample’s fair market value; product samples are not allowed for pharmaceutical companies.	Max $10 USD value and must be available to all registered attendees immediately upon request. Nonprofits subject to the PhRMA Code must meet the Commercial Exhibitor standards.

Specific Giveaway Restrictions:
Tote bags are not eligible for commercial exhibitors. Non-commercial tote bags must be professional and a sample must be submitted to ASCO Exhibits Management for approval by Wednesday, December 9. Please send to:

Cash, cash equivalents, coupons, or vouchers for meals/entertainment/personal services are prohibited. Prohibited items include: oversize bags, bags with wheels, balloons, beach bags, blankets, golf/tennis balls, hats, massagers, phone cards, prescription/non-prescription drugs, stuffed animals, t-shirts, and watches.

Distribution of giveaways and other promotional items in event facilities outside of the exhibit booth, outside of designated meeting exhibit space at event hotels, or on websites linked to or from an online exhibit booth is prohibited for the duration of the Symposium.
